As the county’s only public teaching hospital and safety net system, Valleywise Health provides critical trauma, burn, and behavioral health care. This November, Prop 409 will let voters invest $898 million to expand services, modernize facilities, and train the next generation of doctors.

Potential Bond Projects and Expenditures
Proposition 409 – a $898 million bond would allow Valleywise Health to expand behavioral health services, increase inpatient and emergency room capacity, rebuild and expand community health centers to enhance physician training, build a replacement comprehensive health center, and make other infrastructure improvements.
